The 33rd Annual Arts Business Education Awards Luncheon will take place Wednesday, April 18, 2012, 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM, at the Antlers Hilton Hotel, Colorado Springs. Cost is $35.00 per person. Each year Arts Business Education Consortium hosts this luncheon to honor educators, businesses and local citizens who contribute significantly to the arts in education. At the luncheon, awards for innovative and exemplary arts programs are presented by the ABE Consortium, the Pikes Peak Arts Council, and the Bee Vradenburg Foundation. Also during the luncheon, selected elementary and middle school students from the Pikes Peak region are awarded The Mary Lou Anderson Scholarships to be used to support their education in the visual arts, dance, music, theater and the literary arts. Student artwork from local schools is prominently on display and students provide musical entertainment.
